A national institutionalized youth platform on which youths can engage and participate in community welfare and humanitarian activities and programs. A resource platform to learn and educate youths about their rights and responsibilities, and expose their thoughts and experiences within the national and global context.
My Corps’ vision is to embed the humanitarian spirit, community consciousness, rights, and responsibility, within the youths of Malaysia.
My Corps is an initiative thought of by the youth for the youth to produce a so called “Volunteer Leaders” who have a deep knowledge, right attitude and multiple skill.
This programe will equip the youth with values of Idealisme, Intellectualisme, Spiritualism, Activism , Patrotisme and Glokalisme through training, domestic fieldwork and international fieldwork.
MYCORPS HUMANITARIAN & COMMUNITY EXPEDITIONS
Our humanitarian expeditions is an activity that combines the adventurous experience of backpacking. With the soulful satisfaction of community based work. Travel and experience different and unique cultures, sceneries and people from places like Africa, Aceh, South Asia, Philippines, Iraq, Afghanistan, Ethiopia, or wherever place that requires humanitarian assistance.
Many areas in Malaysia too need some form of community or humanitarian assistance in places and communities that have been devastated by flash floods, String winds, and also poverty.
Not only you get to travel, we will coordinate participants and volunteers of our expeditions with the vast scopes of humanitarian duties such as Emergency Rescue, IDP and Refugee care, or maybe even education and psychosocial programs.
HOW LONG ARE MYCORPS?
Participants will be assigned for one week domestic fieldwork.
Then, Participants will be assigned for one and up to three months international fieldwork for exposure
Finally, once they pass all the stages, they will be accepted as official member of My Corps (Community Service and Disaster Relief)

WHO CAN BECOME MYCORPS?
Malaysian youth AGE 18 until 30 is eligible to become MYCORPS members
Good command of written and spoken Malays and English, fluency in other languages is an advantages and willing to learn foreign languages
school graduates or university students/graduates
Having specific skills, experience and personal attributes.
